Operating from their carrier and cloud-neutral edge data centre, they are committed to equipping your business with direct and fast access to all the internet offers—as well as other data centres and world markets.

    Position Summary

    • Meeting agreed monthly revenue / kWs sold targets.
    • Prospecting and selling to new customers within the UK.
    • Developing, maintaining and growing relationships with all customers.
    • Identifying and developing new business through networking, cold calling, and marketing activity.
    • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods in a timely manner.
    • Plan, carry out and support marketing activities e.g. product launches, promotions, networking events, attending external exhibitions.
    • Organising and conducting site visits.
    • Preparing quotations and written responses to RFP's, RFI's and ITT’s.
    • Management and maintenance of the new business and quotation pipeline.
    • Maintenance of accurate customer prospect and sales activity within a sales database.
    • Any other duties that may be required from time to time in addition to the above.

    The Successful Candidate Must Also Possess:

    • The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully selling high-value services within a challenging marketplace.
    • Ability to identify, develop and close business opportunities, as well as proven business development skills and a history in exceeding agreed targets.
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Creation of high quality financial and technical business proposals to tight deadlines
    • Accurately forecasting revenue.
    • Understanding of Business Procedures, i.e.: Finance, Forecasting, Business Planning and Contracts for Service.
    • A good understanding of the Data Centre market and the opportunities it provides.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who…

      • Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, especially power, KVM, and cabinets.
      • Self-motivated and results driven.
      • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work at all levels of an account.
      • A committed work ethic and ownership of results.
      • Strong organisational and planning skills.
      • Ability to travel up to 75%. Majority of travel is within UK & Ireland.
      • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
      • (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams).
      • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
      • Passion for technology products.
      • Experience in channel sales.

      • Watch distributors performance in terms of taking of orders.
      • Supervise the sales team/distributors in the business proposals preparation.
      • Conduct regular customer visits and participate to sales representatives shows, meetings, and other promotional activities.
      • Collaborate with local services to improve products marketing and associated services.
      • Define management strategy.
      • Define and implement activity tracking KPIs

      What the Job Involves…

      • Represent Company actively and cultivate high level relationships key engineering firms, contractors, and GCs to gain insight on critical opportunities. 
      • Provide large project sales leadership to maximise win rate including the following functions as required: specification CDE review/completion, competitive situation analysis, winning price point analysis, and developing/implementing overall sales strategy. 
      • Provide technical support for key client engagements including the following activities: assistance with development of concept power architectures, technical guidance for selection of best fit product ratings, battery selection and sizing, creation of concept single lines and virtual or in-person design reviews.  
      • Provide Busbar and Switchgear LoB business account management in partnership with dedicated account managers for select key accounts. 
      • Create general industry awareness through attendance and presenting at industry events 
      • Educate selling entities on application focused system architectures. 
      • Work with Sales Managers to provide sales insight and ensure proposals are align with our customer’s needs.
      • Represent the company and actively participate in key customer factory visits when appropriate.
      • Provide industry feedback to product managers for product improvements and roadmaps. 
      • Provide guidance and insight to product management and executive teams on shifting market dynamics and customer needs.

      • Experience working with Sales Offices.
      • Excellent Sales credibility and self-confidence to deal with frequent, stressful customer relationship issues. 
      • Sales Presentation skills – in person and virtual. 
      • Large Group Presentation skills – in person and virtual. 
      • At least five years of industry sales experience.
